Janet Hill, managing partner of Hill & Beasley LLP in Athens, was recently selected as president-elect of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the only national bar organization comprising attorneys who represent employees, and which, along with its affiliated chapters, has more than 3,000 members. Hill additionally has been selected as a Fellow in the American Bar Association's College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. The college is represented by more than 660 members in 41 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Canada. Hill is the first woman and first plaintiff's lawyer in Georgia to have been chosen for the college.
